Arnhem Veteran
'Arnhem Veteran' is a limited edition hardback book where only 500 copies have been printed. The book tells the powerful story of Frank Hughes, a 19 year old glider pilot flying into Arnhem, Operation Market Garden, 80 years ago. Frank being one of the youngest glider pilots bringing men into battle, he survived the fight and made his escape across the lower Rhine, despite being shot on the 20th September, the day he was shot being his 20th Birthday.
Part of the story is made from Frank's own handwritten memoirs and further additional detail by his son Tan, a veteran of more recent conflict. The book tells a remarkable story of one pf those brave, precious young men to which we all owe so much.
