Annually, near June 6th, the tourist offices of the Landing Beaches region extend an invitation to celebrate freedom! Amidst the D-Day Festival Normandy, attendees can indulge in a vibrant array of cultural and festive activities commemorating the anniversary of the Allied landings in Normandy on June 6, 1944.
The D-Day Festival Normandy spans the entirety of the D-Day coastline and the Battle of Normandy, from Pegasus Bridge to Sainte-Mère-Eglise, encompassing locations like Ouistreham, Arromanches, Pointe du Hoc, and the renowned sectors of Utah Beach, Omaha Beach, Gold Beach, Juno Beach, and Sword Beach.
Featuring parachuting, parades, concerts, historical re-enactments, fireworks, exhibitions, projections, and more, the festival boasts nearly 100 diverse and engaging events, blending popular, cultural, and festive attractions.
